Beech Is Back - The Australian Episode
After escaping CIB3 and fleeing the UK, Beech ends up in Sydney, Australia with his diamonds. His first port of call is to get some ready-cash, which leads him to Frankie, a Vietnamese bar manager with contacts. Frankie and Beech become partners in crime, starting with armed robberies and hoping to move onto drugs.
Beech thinks everythng's going well. But, he doesn't know that the British police have received a tip-off to his whereabouts. His newly promoted ex-colleague, DI Clare Stanton is on the next plane over to the land down-under. Meanwhile, he considers going into business with Frankie's boss, Tran, until he hears that Tran is considered expendable by the people that matter.
While Clare closes in on him, the corrupt ex-cop goes into business with some local drug-dealers. One of the conditions though is that he robs Tran's casino. Tran wants revenge and goes after Don, closely follwed by Clare. Beech shoots Tran and tries to escpae on a boat. Clare picks up Tran's gun and begins to shoot at Don. The boat explodes and Beech is believed dead, leaving Clare distraught that she didn't bring him to justice first.
